Still Life #2
Hooray for monochromatic still life!
Talking about practice I've got an advice from a friend, which found this one on the blog of Matt Kohr called "CTRL Paint". He discovered the website again after getting bored with to many beginner guides, however, it's a cool resource for ideas and techniques. Furthermore, he said that he and ctrl advises to draw things 100 times, if you're not satisfied with the results you do yet. Well, I feel pretty crappy at hands and so I will try to follow this suggestions to see, if it gives some progress.
So I guess the next update will probably be about hands and even more flash loops.

Steam Support About Soundtrack Licenses
A few weeks ago I dug out plenty old flash loops I made, which I once took down from my website, since I had no permission to use the music of Soundtracks of Half Life. This hasn't changed.
However, I took the time to write to the Steam Support, explaining to them, that I made a few Flashloops, which can't simple be opened to get the track, including the information that they are completely non-commercial.
They answered me that they still can't grant any permission for the use, but also, that they very unlikely ask me to take them down. Just for the case they still have to.
What does that mean for me ?
Probably that I'll flood this blog with older loops the next days.
